Fitting

As part of our service we provide all MPL customers with exclusive video guides on how to fit their new handles and locks. Information on how to access these videos will be included within your invoice.

We also provide a full after sales telephone support service should you run into any problems or questions. As a general fitting guide we recommend customers follow the following procedure:

Quick Fitting Guide

- Remove your old mechanism, handle and cylinder from the door

- Lay the new mechanism by the side of the old one, and cut the new one to length

- Ensure the latch is the correct way round (if not this can be reversed usually by 1 screw or allen key)

- Fit the new mechanism into the door, and resecure the handles and cylinder.

- Ensure that the locking points line up with the keeps on the frame side and the door locks nice and smoothly, if there is some resistance adjust the keeps on the door frame

- Job Done.
